Santa Claus rolls through Red Deer

Drenched in a dazzling display of 7,640 lights, a city bus slowly travelled down the city’s streets, carrying two very special passengers determined to spread Christmas cheer to our community
On December 5 and 12, Red Deerians both big and small, lined the streets to wave hello to Santa and his elf as the Stantec Santa Bus rolled through 22 neighbourhoods throughout Red Deer. There were so many smiling people as the glittering vehicle passed by.
The City of Red Deer would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Stantec for their sponsorship, and to our amazing community for coming out to see Santa. The feedback from the community has been overwhelmingly positive, and though no firm plans yet exist, we hope to bring this event back to even more neighbourhoods next year!
