Rolling Barrage rolls through Red Deer
August 26, 2021
On August 17, the Rolling Barrage made their way through the Red Deer area as part of their 20-day cross-country journey to raise awareness and funds to support those living with the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
The Rolling Barrage is an event that is extra special to Red Deer Emergency Services, RCMP, Municipal Policing and Red Deer County and Sylvan Lake Fire Department as PTSD often effects first responders, as well as their loved ones.
As such, Red Deer Emergency Services joined their colleagues throughout central Alberta to support those participating in the cross-Canada journey. The Rolling Barrage started on August 2 and finished in Vancouver, BC on August 21.
