Men in Kilts at your service

When Barkley Carrier took over the Men In Kilts franchise in Red Deer on January 2, he had no idea that his services would soon include grocery deliveries.
Men in Kilts is well known for their exterior/interior cleaning services and snow removal, but some of their services are now on hold due to the current need for social distancing.
Barkley immediately decided to put his extra time to use by offering free grocery shopping and delivery services to Red Deer’s older residents.
“The idea originated with the franchise owner in Orillia, ON, and we decided to do the same thing here in Red Deer. There are a number of other Canadian franchises who have followed since then”, says Barkley.
Precautions are taken when delivering the groceries to practice proper sanitation, and wear gloves.
Although he’s only done a handful of deliveries since they started offering the service on March 18, he’s looking forward to helping as much as he can. Requests can be sent to reddeer@meninkilts.com, or through 1-800-777-5458.
