Mayor Johnston delivers State of the City address

Today, Mayor Ken Johnston delivered a “State of the City” address to the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce during their first Key Speaker Luncheon of 2022.
Mayor Johnston provided the group a summary of key initiatives from the past year, and a look into the future of Red Deer, including a financial forecast.
The Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce is an association of business people and merchants who promote business growth and prosperity in the Red Deer region, with a mission to be a collaborative leader in building a vibrant community.
“Thank you to the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce for inviting me to speak with your membership,” said Mayor Ken Johnston. “You are a respected partner in community and economic development, and it was an honour to be with you today.”
Later this month, and in early March, Mayor Johnston will be providing a State of the City address to the Rotary Club of Red Deer and to BILD (Building Industry and Land Development), Central Alberta.
