City Council hosts Agency Day

Red Deer City Council heard from five local agencies at their first Agency Day since being elected in the fall of 2021.
Agency Day is one opportunity for Council to meet with community agencies to hear formal presentations on their current goals, issues and to celebrate their success while building on the relationship between Council and the Agency.
The agencies that presented were Westerner Exposition Association (Westerner Park), Tourism Red Deer. Central Alberta Economic Partnership, Red Deer Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Business Association.
While agencies all reported experiencing tough times throughout the recent Covid-19 pandemic, they were quick to point out their optimism for the future and they look forward to collaborating with other agencies and The City.
The next City Council Agency Day is scheduled for September 15, 2022.
