It's the little things ...

I was watching the world go by yesterday, having a coffee at Cafe' Vero at the Eastview Shopping Centre (fantastic coffee btw).   I looked up to see a staff person from the Bank of Montreal next door helping an elderly lady to her car.  The walk was slow as the women was unsteady on her feet.  The patience and kindness in this small act of community filled my cup.  I doubt "go the extra mile and make sure customers feel supported by getting them safely to their vehicle" is in this bank tellers job description.   Thank you to the BMO employee extraordinairre who lead with her heart - you make me proud to live in Red Deer.
